A Man of Vision - who has seen the Living God and whose eyes are fixed upon HIm. John 1:14 - And the Word became flesh, and dwelt among us, and we beheld His glory, glory as of the only begotten from the Father, full of grace and truth. A Man Who Hears the Voice of God Ephesians 1:13-14 - In Him, you also, after listening to the message of truth, the gospel of your salvation-having also believed, you were sealed in Him with the Holy Spirit of promise, who is given as a pledge of our inheritance. A Spiritual Man - led by God's Spirit Romans 8:14 - For all who are being led by the Spirit of God, these are the Sons of God. Galatians 2:20 - I have been crucified with Christ; and it is no longer I who live, but Christ lives in me; and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and delivered himself up for me. A Man Who Serves Galatians 6:2 - Bear one another's burdens, and thus fulfill the law of Christ. Man of Peace Bible Study
Faith in God is rooted in His Holy Scriptures. The Psalmist prays unto the LORD “open my eyes, that I may behold wondrous things out of thy law.” (Psalm 119:18)
When we humble ourselves in submission to God’s Word our faith grows strong and our hope becomes more certain. And when our faith is strong and our hope is more certain barriers to love, like greed, envy, pride covetousness and fear are overcome. We become a spiritual man driven by the truth of God’s Word.
An important part of that renewal process is group Bible study. Together, as one man, we examine God’s Word, discussing what is being said while seeking ways of applying these eternal truths to our lives.
As Men of Peace our ultimate goal is to glorify God and enjoy Him forever, remembering always that God has given us His word that me might know Him, and know Him completely.
“My covenant was a covenant of life and peace, and I gave them to him, that he might fear; and he feared me, he stood in awe of my name.” (Malachi 2:5)
